St. Thomas

Our second port of call was St. Thomas which is also part of the US Virgin Islands. Here we are taking the opportunity to get a quick picture with our ship.
We took a tram ride to the top of a mountain where we had beautiful views of the island and were also able to enjoy a couple "nature trails."

As we were getting ready to ride back down on the tram Grammy discovered a parrot show was about to begin. It was a lot of fun and it was amazing what the birds had been trained to do. They roller skated, rode bikes, added and subracted, said "hello", stood on their heads, raced to pick out different color objects and more. It was a lot of fun and the best part was that Reagan was able to hold a Cockatoo named Miss Priss at the end. I have included several videos of our experience with Miss Priss below.
Even though Kennedy didn't get to hold the real Miss Priss Grammy found Kennedy her very own Miss Priss to take home and love
Our day on St. Thomas was pretty muggy and hot. After our tram ride and walking the nature trail we were all ready for some liquids and air conditioning. On our way to our next stop we took a break and Kennedy insisted on holding her popsicle all by herself. What an independent and big girl!
Reagan of course enjoyed her popsicle too
I guess eating a big popsicle all by yourself wears a baby girl out! :)
Our next stop was a vist to a Butterfly Farm. Here Reagan is either looking at some butterfly eggs or a tiny caterpillar
Reagan and Tim are looking at some cocoons at various stages and different species of butterflies and moths Our favorite butterflies were the Morpho butterflies. They are beautiful! This is one Dad caught getting a snack. Here it is with its wings open. This picture really doesn't do the butterfly justice, however. Their wings are such a vivid and gorgeous blue.
I caught two Morpho butterflies flying together. Anytime you see two or more butterflies flying together it is called an "Imagine." Here Reagan is being handed Miss Priss to hold. It was so cool!

Here is some video of Reagan holding Miss Priss and giggling. Again so cool! :)

This is a video of Miss Priss riding bike
