Reagan's 3rd Birthday - Princess Party

3 Year-old Princess Reagan at her Princess Birthday Party
What could cause a princess to be so excited?!?!?
This incredible Princess Castle Cake made by Nonna!
One extremely appreciative hug! Thank you so much for the amazing cake, Nonna!

A family picture at the party
Big hugs for Aunt Arla! :)
Reagan having fun with Aunt Arla and Uncle Scott lol :)
I love this picture of Reagan with Aunt Arla and Uncle Scott especially since they are her Godparents
Nonna, Reagan and Grammy - life is pretty good with two grandmas around! :)
Grammy and Pop-A-Lops with their girls
Grammy with her girls (we need to use this picture to update Grammy's Facebook pic!)
Katie and Reagan
Reagan with Katie, Uncle Barry and Michael Hamlin (sorry Michael but believe it or not out of the half dozen pictures I took that was the best picture I got! lol)
Aunt Arla showing Reagan the special Cinderella slipper cheese she cut out especially for her princess party
Caught in the act! Aunt Arla helping Reagan sneak purple M&Ms before dinner! lol :)
Two precious little Cinderella's
We had large bubble wands for party favors. The ones that worked were pretty neat but for some reason some of them were more challenging than others. We had a good time with them and some other bubble toys we had in anycase!
Two sweet girls blowing bubbles together
Kennedy getting a little bubble blowing assistance from Pop-A-Lops
We had some princess tattoos for the girls to wear during the princess party (I thought that would be easier than makeup). Kennedy sat so perfectly still and seriously while I was applying her tattoo. I guess she probably wasn't sure what to make of all the craziness. lol :)
Princesses Anna, Reagan and Heidi with their princess heart tattoos

We didn't think the boys would like the princess tattoos so we got Spider Man ones for them instead - here is Holden sporting his first tattoo :)
I'm not sure exactly how or when Reagan became interested in Pinatas but she has been talking about having one at her party for months. That said, I knew it was a must have game for our Princess party. It was fun but also took a bit of work for it to release the treasured candy and toys inside.

As the birthday girl we let Reagan take the first whack at her pinata
Heidi giving it a go
Anna did her best to bring it down too
Kennedy even made an attempt
Chaz really went to town on the Pinata - it took quite a lot of work and after several rounds we let Chaz just go at it while Uncle Scott held it still
Chaz was the one who eventually got got the Pinata to burst but a couple of the daddies helped out and Kennedy enjoyed having Grammy help her during a couple of her turns too
Showing off the treats they had to work so hard for (I asked for princess smiles and threw in pirate smiles for Chaz's benefit - both Chaz and Reagan took me up on the pirate pose...)
We had a princess version of the old party favorite "Pin the Tail on the Donkey." It was a castle with all the princesses looking out various windows and you had to put Cinderella in her window.

Here is Heidi all ready for her turn! :)
Reagan placing her Cinderella on the castle
While the big kids played games Holden spent some quality time playing in the bouncer
A very proud and happy little princess with all her presents
Reagan checking out her talking princess mirror from Nonna
Reagan and Nonna laughing at Heidi enjoying the princess mirror
Grammy and Pop-A-Lops gave Reagan a violin earlier in the day. Reagan is extremely excited about this and looking forward to beginning lessons in June! :)

Last, but not least, it was time to enjoy some of that beautiful and delicious cake and ice cream! :) Reagan was so excited for everyone to sing "Happy Birthday" to her. After we were finished singing she very politely thanked everyone for singing to her. What a little sweetie! I think she throughly enjoyed her day, her cake and her friends and family!

Anna enjoying some of that yummy cake too! :)
Chaz tried to avoid my camera most of the day but I was able to catch him while he was sitting eating cake! :)
Thank you to everyone for coming and making it such a special day for Reagan! Thank you also for all the presents! We had a wonderful time and are so blessed and thankful to have you in our lives! :)
