One of the primary reasons we went to Tennessee in December was because Grammy and Grand-dad purchased tickets to take us to see the Nutcracker in Nashville at TPAC (Tennessee Performing Arts Center). Since we didn't think Jackson would enjoy it so much, we traded Anna for Jackson that afternoon and had a wonderful time with all three girls. Grammy gave each of the girls a small nutcracker to take with them and they were so sweet playing with them. Thank you Grammy and Grand-Dad for such a treat!
Ready for the performance to begin :)
The Tennessee State Museum is in the same building as TPAC and the girls spotted a log cabin and covered wagon they wanted to checkout so we stopped in after the performance. We had a good time checking out several exhibits before the museum closed.
I called the girls over to look at this butter churn and asked if they knew what it was. Anna totally cracked me up when she matter of factly explained "It's a plunger!"
Thank you again for taking all of us, Grammy and Grand-dad! It was a very special experience!
