May Water Fun

At the end of May we had some really nice weather that allowed us to have some great water play days. Reagan was especially excited to try out her new Slip 'N Slide Aunt Jen and Uncle Andrew sent her for her birthday. We also had fun with sand, bubbles, a little pool and even just eating snacks outside. We hope the humidity dies down a bit and we can enjoy the outdoor weather again soon!
~
Waiting so patiently for the Slip 'N Slide to be set up (and darn Mommy thinking they're cute enough that she stops the setup process to snap a quick pic :)
And away they go, sort of...
Reagan just couldn't quite get the hang of the Slip 'N Slide and being 5 months pregnant at the time I couldn't really demonstrate. She would run up to the slide and the little float devices and then stop. Bless her heart she is not the most coordinated child. lol :)
Kennedy enjoying getting her belly wet
Enjoying an easy drink together
Reagan "helping" Kennedy slide down our small slide
Playing with bubbles together

(Reagan didn't blow all these bubbles - she had some help from the bubble blowing cow Aunt Arla gave Kennedy)
It was so nice to be able to enjoy a midmorning snack out on our little picnic table complete with umbrella shade. Grammy bought this to use at Reagan's first birthday party at her house but thought we could use it on our deck and she was right! :)
The girls always enjoy playing in their sand/water table although generally we just keep it filled with sand. Thanks to Ms. Debbie's suggestions it's usually fun and colorful sand!
We also pumped up the alligator/crocodile pool Grammy gave us last summer to play with. The girls had the most fun with the cups and carrying water to the sand/water table (also from Grammy). If the weather cooperates, we need to get the zebra pool from Grandma out that even has a slide! :)

Happily refilling the cup with sand - while I didn't mind the girls bringing water to the water/sand table I did try to get them to keep the sand where it was. Sometimes grown up rules don't make a lot of sense...

Looking at these pictures sure makes me want to get back outside and play (we do go out in the evenings but I mean during the day)! I hope the weather cooperates soon! :)
