We were introduced to Ladybug Girl a couple of months ago during storytime at Barnes & Noble. Aunt Dorothy had also told us how much Heidi loved Ladybug Girl so we decided to get a couple of Ladybug Girl books. Then Great Grandma Carlson sent Reagan and Kennedy a new Ladybug Girl book after Jackson was born. Reagan decided to read her new "Ladybug Girl at the Beach" book to Jackson and Kennedy one morning. It's a little difficult to understand her on the video but she really is reading the book. She's pretty good for a brand new book and being only 3! :)
Since it's difficult to hear what she's saying I thought I'd put the text from the couple of pages I captured here so it's a bit easier to understand what she is reading.
Lulu lists all her top eleven favorite flavors:
"Chocolate Marshmallow, Cherry Vanilla, Pistachio,
Butter Pecan, Peppermint Bon Bon,
Peanut Butter Chip,
Raspberry Swirl,
Peach Pie,
Almond Fudge,
Royal Banana Surprise,
and...
Vanilla."
At the ice cream stand Lulu can't just choose one.
"This is a day for a double scoop," her mama says.
Sometimes mamas can be very right.
