Let it be known that in the month of January in the year 2012, Tim's quest for world domination officially began. The training of his two top of generals began with their first game of Risk one cold Saturday afternoon. While Kennedy shows signs of mercy, it is clear Reagan is as ruthless and determined as her father to rule the world.
This game has been on going for a couple of weeks now and in all seriousness Reagan has proven to be quite good. In all liklihood it appears she will succeed in her first attempt at taking over the world via the game of Risk (besides actually understanding the game better than we anticipated, she is apparently incredibly lucky in her rolling of the die). Kennedy has mostly lost interest at this point, but will still hop up to roll her die and make official decisions on what countries she wishes to defend. This is a great game for both logic and geography among other things. I think it's fantastic that Tim has been taking the time to play this with the girls. Of course I know he's really just waiting for the day he has prepared them sufficeintly to play Axis and Allies. :) The funniest commentary I've heard has been over Missy K's determination to defend Madagascar. Tim convinced her it wasn't strategically important and she should place her troops elsewhere. The next time I checked on the game Reagan had decided to capture Madagascar as a way to help out with her invasion of Austrailia. Madagascar has traded hands a couple of times now (currently back in the hands of Kennedy) and has shared a surprisingly level of attention.
