Egg Recipes

In early March we felt inspired by Ms. Mo'mina and the boys to try our hand at making some Deviled Eggs. Theirs didn't turn out so well but we hoped we would have a little more luck. We'll just say that regardless of the results we always have fun cooking together. :)
~
Reagan all set and ready to go!
Reagan very carefully helped peel the eggs
Kennedy was happy to eat the eggs that weren't in good enough shape to use - she is a little egg monster! lol :)
We decided to smell some of the ingredients to see what we thought. Reagan wasn't quite sure how good the vinegar smelled.
or the pepper
the Mayo didn't seem too bad
Kennedy decided to check out the Paprika
Once we were done smelling ingredients it was time to dump them together and mix them up for a yummy snack! :)
Kennedy was a great at mixing too :)
After Mommy filled the eggs Kennedy and Reagan sprinkled Paprika on top
It was finally time to try out our Deviled Eggs and the verdict was....
~
"AWFUL!!!"
It seems we didn't have any more luck than Ms. Mo'mina and the boys did with their Deviled Eggs. I guess we're going to have to get a tried and true recipe from some one. Since I was still in the mood for something eggy we made an attempt at Egg Salad Sandwiches a couple of days later. Reagan helped mix it up again and while I thought it was pretty good both Reagan and Kennedy decided to pass. :)

  1. I make deviled eggs all the time! It's actually really easy, and you just need to mix the egg interior with the Miracle Whip. Put a little in and add more until you get the right mixture. Then, just add salt and pepper to taste. That's it! They are some of our favorites. People ask why mine taste better than others, and the secret is Miracle Whip and not other types of mayo.

    Good luck!

  2. Thanks to Kelly and Martha for the much simpler and unbelievably better tasting Deviled Egg recipes. I've tried them both out and they are yummy! Thanks so much! :)
