Arthur Jackson 3-D Ultrasound

While we were in Tennessee we did a 3-D/4-D ultrasound of Arthur Jackson (we're pretty sure that's going to be his name). He wasn't in a real cooperative mood (although she was able to confirm we are having a little boy) as he had his feet/legs and hands in front of his face. Because his legs were up the umbilical cord was also floating in front of his face. So, there was a lot to work around and he was pretty much asleep and we couldn't get him to move much during the entire hour long session. Little stinker! Hopefully he'll enjoy sleeping as much once he gets here! :)

My favorite pic - sweet baby boy

Face towards placenta - once he did move he just turned so his back was towards us and his face was completely inwards.

Smiling - so hopefully he'll be a happy baby too! :)

This ultrasound was done at 28 weeks and 5 days and that is exactly what he was measuring. The only thing that was odd was they told us they thought his due date would be September 13. That would be cool since it is Tim's birthday but seemed strange since he was measuring exactly on and my actual due date is September 20. Whatever, these things are never 100% accurate and we'll be excited to see him whenever he decides to arrive. They estimated his weight to currently be about 2lbs 2 ozs and thought he would be about 7lbs 2ozs at birth. Given that both girls were 7lbs 12 ozs I'll be surprised if he's that small but I won't mind as I have no desire to break any records or have any enormous babies. I think the 7-8lb range is just great! :) I'm now at 30 weeks and can't believe we'll be having another baby join our family in the next 10 weeks (give or take a week or two). I'm sure it will be exciting and busy to add a little boy to our munchkin crew! :) Reagan is especially sweet and excited about meeting her new baby brother. She gives my tummy hugs all the time and tells him she loves him all day long. It is so sweet and cute! :) With the bedrooms switched around (I'll get pictures of that posted some day) I think we're all ready for him whenever he decides to make his arrival and he is certainly a very loved baby already! :)
