Fall Fun with Grammy & Pop-A-Lops in TN

While on our trip to Tennessee Grammy took us to a local pumpkin patch I've been wanting to check out for a couple of years. While it wasn't quite as good as we had hoped we still had a great time together.
~
Getting ready to check out Amazing Acres
Singing their way through the pumpkin maze clues
Reagan reading some clues/puzzles in the corn maze
Ready and waiting (and waiting and waiting) for the hayride

Yes, Mommy and Jackson were along for the ride too (wow it just hit me that Jackson really looks like Uncle Andrew as a baby in this picture)
Grammy helped the girls check out a water pump/duck slide thing
Reagan running the ducks back for another try
There were a few animals the girls could check out and Reagan especially enjoyed feeding the calves
The girls also really enjoyed petting the rabbits

Because the hayride was taking so long we had actually gotten off to go look at the animals. Finally the started the hayrides again so we took one out to visit the pumpkin patch where we could each select a pumpkin. Reagan loved the opportunity to check the pumpkins out in the pumpkin patch she apparently recalled our trip to Boyd's Orchard last year and thought there should be tons of pumpkins just sitting around. lol :)With Grammy's help Kennedy selected a pumpkin as well
Kissing her pumpkin
Grammy and Kennedy loving the pumpkin which Kennedy actually slept with for the following two days lol :)
Reagan told me she was tired and proceeded to pretend to sleep on the hayride back from the pumpkin patchThere was a play area the kids could enjoy as well. The thing both girls loved the best was this large tube slide. It was super super fast!!!
Hold on tight, Kennedy!!!
Kennedy decided she preferred going down the slide with Grammy lol :)

My little munchkins

Saturday night Grammy and Pop-A-Lops took the girls to their first college football game at TTU. We sat right next to the band which absolutely fascinated both the girls. I'm not sure they even realized a football game was in progress.
Reagan and Pop-A-Lops purchased popcorn and Sierra Mist to enhance our viewing pleasure
When you are loving the band it's great that your grandpa is the music department chairman and can introduce you to the tuba players who let you help play those super cool instruments!

The girls also loved watching the cheerleaders. They were all really sweet to them and the baton twirlers gave them a bunch of stickers.
TTU Marching Band halftime show
While Pop-A-Lops spent quite a bit of time chasing his girls around Grammy and Jackson mostly chilled out together (please note that all three kids are sporting new matching TTU sweatshirts courtesy of Grammy and Pop-A-Lops)
So sweet! Headed back to the van after a super fun evening!
Thank you for all you did for us and driving us all over the midwest and south during your Fall Break! We love you guys lots! :)
