October Activities

Since it's December I guess it's about time to finish blogging about October. lol :) I think my New Year's resolution is definitely going to have to be to stay more on top of the blog, along with my continuous goal/desire to lose weight... Hopefully I'll be more successful with the former than I have been with the latter... :) In the meantime please sit back and enjoy some pictures of the fun we had together as a family in October. :)
~
In early October (I believe the 1st to be precise) Kennedy and Reagan enjoyed painting pumpkins together one afternoon
Reagan painting her pumpkin her favorite color, purple
Kennedy of course chose her favorite color brown. What a nut! How many 22 1/2 month olds love the color brown???
Jackson was so excited about our pumpkin painting project that he slept right through it. lol :)
As well as taking us to Wisconsin and Tennessee during her Fall Break, Grammy also spent a few days with us in Kentucky. One day we made but chalk together. Figuring out the consistency was a bit challenging at first but once we got the hang of it it was a pretty cool project.

Reagan reading the directions
Adding water to the chalk mixture
Helping Kennedy count the capfuls of water to add to her chalk mixture
Shaking up the chalk
Pouring the chalk mixture in the bug molds to set
Jackson had lots of opportunity to bond with the members of our family in October. Daddy was finally able to take the last week of October off to spend some time with us. Because of his crazy work schedule and because we were able to arrange to have family help out Tim waited until the end of October to take a week off. It was awesome to have him home with us and you can see Jackson enjoyed some guy time with his Daddy! :)
Super happy baby - life is good with Daddy around! Jackson is such a sweet and happy baby it doesn't take much to get him smiling and talking! :)
Haydn likes chilling out with Jackson too, especially if he thinks it will earn him some extra attention.
Reagan had her first chance to feed Jackson in October
Kennedy had the opportunity to feed Jackson later that same week - what big sisters and helpers!
Reagan and Kennedy love our neighbor girls and thoroughly enjoyed playing in the leaves with them one nice October evening.

If this isn't a serious, run for a leaf pile I don't know what is!
No idea what this pose/face is but I love it! lol :)
Jackson definitely enjoyed spending time with his grandparents while they were there his Baptism weekend.

Pop-A-Lops (who may become "Grandfather" - stay tuned) and Jackson enjoying a good book together .
Reading is such hardwork! Time for a nap!!! :)
Good loving from Grandma!
and Grammy too! :)
Reagan and Kennedy helping me make our new favorite pie, Paula Dean's Apple Pear Buttery Pie. So, so, so yummy! :)
The girls, especially Reagan, love to eat the dough from the crust
Buttering the top before putting it in the oven to bake
