Aunt Julie & Uncle Chuck's Wedding

On Friday, February 4, Aunt Julie and Uncle Chuck were married in a beautiful ceremony in Mount Olive, Illinois. I was a bridesmaid and the girls were flower girls. We had so much fun and appreciate Aunt Julie and Uncle Chuck including us in their very special day!
Aunt Julie and her girls :)
The Rehearsal Dinner - Aunt Julie said we should all dress up in our favorite sports teams clothing and since we're Packers fans and since Uncle Chuck is a Bears fan, we couldn't help but rub things in just a tad...

The wedding party (Aunt Julie and Uncle Chuck have a lot of great friends!)
Grandpa and Grandma helping to contain the Wild and Crazies...
I stood up with one of Uncle Chuck's brothers
The girls did a wonderful job both practicing and being flower girls the next day during the ceremony

Love this picture of Uncle Jimmy and Kennedy! I didn't know it until later but Reagan apparently refused to have her picture taken with Uncle Jimmy because he was wearing a Steelers jersey. Can we say a little competiveness runs in our family???
As I was getting ready to take this picture Kennedy pulled Jackson's paci out of his mouth and told him "You don't need dis paci for the picture." You think she's heard that once or twice??? lol :)
Great picture with Grandma! :)
Reagan teasing Uncle Chuck about the Packers and Bears
The morning of the wedding began with getting hair ready - who would have guessed the girls would love curlers so much?!?!?

Daddy and one of his beautiful girls waiting for the wedding
Beautiful Missy Reagan! :)
Love this precious picture of my sweet girls!

The Wedding Party
As Father of the Bride you have very special duties such as picking up all the flower petals the flower girls drop and or throw throughout the church... :)
Aunt Julie walking through the snow after our outdoor photo shoot (which ended with some great shots from the photographer even though it was a bit chilly)
Uncle Chuck and Aunt Julie on the bus
Between the wedding and the reception we headed to Nonna's with the little ones to rest for a bit and visit
Reagan with her Elizabeth doll who had a similar flower girl dress
We had a good time dancing with the girls throughout the reception and they were ready to begin as soon as we got there and before the dance (or even dinner) had begun

Reagan had a wonderful time dancing with the groomsmen and even had them asking her for dances - so so so cute!!! :)

Reagan and Sydeny who according to Reagan had "hair just like me!"
Time for some cake!
Father - Daughter dance
Jackson and Great Aunt Jean
Jackson and Me - I sure love that sweet baby boy!!!
Uncle Randy, Aunt Kayci and G - What a great family picture!
Aunt Julie and one of her little men :)
The girls became interested in some stickers we brought and Reagan especially spent at least an hour playing with them. They had a variety of shapes so she was able to create her own stickers. She is one creative little girl!
Joel, Andy and Tim (two of his best friends)
I love, LOVE, LOVE these pictures of Aunt Julie and Kennedy dancing together!

Love these pictures of Missy K trying to dance with Melody like Aunt Julie had been dancing with her. Kennedy is such a little observer and imitator! lol :)
Uncle Mark, Daddy, Uncle Randy and Grandpa - Uncle Jimmy should be in this picture too! Maybe we should begin to includ our little dudes too!
Aunt Julie's cousin, Jamie, is awesome with the girls and they love her! Thanks for all the time you spend with them Jamie!
Aunt Julie and Me
Fun with pipe cleaners at the reception - I love the simple things that will keep kids busy for hours! Look at that concentration!
Aunt Julie was so great at spending time with the girls and playing with them - not to mention humoring their whims - checkout that sticker tattoo creation on Aunt Julie's arm from Reagan
Reagan created a sticker tattoo/creation for Miles too
Then she decided she'd like to dance with him but he wasn't so sure...
A girl who is on a mission and knows what she's after
Ms. Angie got Miles to dance with Reagan and it made her night! Thank you Ms. Angie and Miles!!!
Jackson was clearly exhausted but couldn't get to sleep with all the excitment and loud music. In the arms of a pro like Uncle Randy, however, he went right to sleep! :)
Reagan wasn't exactly ready to leave but she looked as precious as she'd looked all day just the same!
Kennedy was pretty much exhausted after the end of a wonderful day! :)

Thank you again for including us in your very special day! We love you Uncle Chuck and Aunt Julie!!! :)

The funniest story of the day involved Kennedy and Tim. After the ceremony Missy K took her shoes off. I assumed Tim was around when this occurred and therefore didn't mention it to him when he was leaving with the kids and I was staying for more adult bridal party pictures. As they were walking across the snow and ice covered parking lot Kennedy was sputtering "Dis Diculous! Dis Diculous!" Tim asked her what was ridiculous and she responded "My feet cold! Dis Diculous!" Tim then realized she wasn't wearing any shoes and told her to stay put. At that point Reagan began yelling she was afraid Kennedy was going to get smashed like a pancake by a car to which Missy K reacted by running across the parking lot and landing in a mud puddle. Her feet were completely soaked and frozen by this point but she still insisted on getting into the van "Myself! Do it myself!" I only wish I could have seen this entire scene as I'm sure it would have been absolutely hilarious watching Tim try and manage our 3 little wild and crazies! :) And as someone else pointed out it's only all the more funny because Kennedy was right it was pretty ridiculous to be walking in the snow and ice without any shoes!!! Poor baby girl!
