Snow Day

Today was truly one of those super fun days where everything just goes your way. I had an absolutely wonderful time playing and baking with the girls! It was one of those days that make me realize how lucky I am to be a stay at home Mom because I loved every minute of it and my two sweet girls! :)
~
It snowed a decent amount here this morning so this afternoon we headed out to take advantage of all that wonderful white stuff! As you'll see in the Wisconsin pictures Reagan's favorite thing about snow is eating it. She absolutely can not stop! So of course the first thing she did upon getting outside was to dig right in to that yummy snow! lol :)
Kennedy enjoying the ride :)
As soon as I pulled Kennedy down the drive way Reagan ran right up and sat down next to her. It was so precious! Then she decided to share some snow with Kennedy. Again so precious! :)

It didn't work out great as the sled just wasn't big enough but the girls did try to sled together
When the sledding together didn't work out Reagan decided it was time to pull out her Monster Truck! Look at that smile, can't you hear the laughter that went along with it?

So sweet in their Monster Truck :)
This is my favorite picture of the day. I love how those sweet smiling faces and how much they are enjoying playing together! :)
Happy Baby out in the snow! :) I don't know what she was laughing at here but I have to say I think the most fun she had all day was when I couldn't keep my balance and kept falling with her. It was making me super nervous (and I'm sure I'm going to have some big bruises to boot) but she thought it was hilarious! :)
Reagan annouced she was going to make a snow angel and promptly plopped herself down and did so. Way to go Reagan! :)
Reagan walking up our driveway. You can kind of get an idea of the amount of snow we got in this picture. Not a ton of it but enough to have a good time. :)
I sat Kennedy down on the steps so I could push Reagan down our little hill in front of the house on the sled. She looked so sweet sitting there I had to run back and get my camera for a couple more pictures.
Kennedy refused to stand up in this snow suit today or while we were in Wisconsin. After pusing Reagan down the hill a couple of times I sent Kennedy down. Next I gave Reagan a turn and when I turned around Kennedy was up from the step (I had sat her there again) and walking towards the hill.
Kennedy then sat down and attempted to slide herself down the hill (minus the sled). It was so funny! Missy K is such a silly baby! lol :)
After sledding for a while Reagan decided it was time to go play on our "playground." Kennedy had a great time swinging while Reagan throughly enjoyed her super slick slide. I didn't take my camera to the backyard as I knew I wouldn't really have any place to put it. It was so wonderful to get outside and play today!
~
The only way I could get Reagan to agree to come inside after playing in the snow was to promise a bubble bath in my big tub including running the jets to make sure we had tons of bubbles.
Reagan pretending to be Santa after putting bubbles on her face "Ho Ho Ho!"
A very bubbly baby :)
We decided the perfect way to end our fun afternoon was to bake some chocolate chip cookies together. Here Reagan is ready to go with all of her ingredients. Reagan thought we needed a cup of salt but I assurred her it was a teaspoon of salt and a cup of flour... lol :)
Adding the brown sugar
Mixing the dough
Tim and I can't quite remember the story here but it was so funny. I think it was something to the effect of Reagan congratulating Daddy for being an excellent helper complete with congratulatory handshake. What a little nut! lol :)
Adding the most important ingredient - CHOCOLATE CHIPS!!!
Spooning out the cookie dough onto the cookie sheet
Perfection!
Reagan throughly enjoyed her master piece(s) and had a great time helping herself. At one point when she was going to get another cookie she told Daddy "I can have as many as I want." He laughed and said "What?" and I had to tell him that I had indeed told Reagan she could have as many chocolate chip cookies as she wanted for dinner tonight. Obviously not an every night occurance but sounds like a great way to end a fun snow day don't you think? :)
Kennedy approved of Reagan's baking skills

Thank you to my two sweet girls for such a fun day! :)
