The Saturday before Easter we took a trip to New Haven, Kentucky, with Grammy, Grand-Dad, Uncle Dan, Aunt Dorothy, Heidi and Holden to take a ride on the Cottontail Express. It was an opportunity to take a train ride as well as see the Easter Bunny.

We finally made it on board the train and Jackson thought our tickets were pretty cool toys

The girls settled down and colored together while they waited for the ride to begin and the Easter Bunny to appear

Who's coming??? 
The Easter Bunny!!!
As you can see from the pictures above (and below) some members were more impressed by the Easter Bunny than others. Heidi and Reagan both figured out pretty quickly that this might not be a "real" bunny. Reagan told me rather urgently "Mommy, I have to tell you a secret!" When I asked her "What?" she replied "There's a human inside that costume!"

If the Easter Bunny was a bit of a disspointment the candy he left for the kids was certainly not!
Jackson had a great time with everyone (except for the Easter Bunny) on his first train trip! :)
We took another shot at getting a couple of Easter Bunny pictures when we arrived back at the station before the Easter Egg hunt.
Then we headed inside to hunt eggs (each child was only allowed to find 4 eggs - say what???)
We didn't cheat with the eggs Holden just collected all the empty eggs everyone else left behind :)
Thanks to everyone for the super fun day! I can't wait to try out the Polar Express this December!
