Reagan's 4th Birthday

When Reagan woke up on her birthday morning all three kids had fun playing in the balloons we had blown up and placed all over her floor. Before Daddy went to work Reagan opened up a couple of presents and blew out her candles on her specially selected Krispy Kreme birthday donut.Jackson throughly enjoyed his first donutand then he gobbled up his second! lol :)Typically we try to go and do something special for the kids on their actual birthday. We had been planning to go to the Kentucky Horsepark but with rain in the forecast we decided that wasn't such a good idea. Instead the day before her birthday we picked up a bunch of medical supplies so we could build our own "Animal Rescue Center." Reagan had missed out on that part of the Dora and Diego exhibit at the Indianapolis Chilren's Museum for Heidi's birthday. We had been talking about building our own rescue center ever since so Reagan's birthday seemed like the perfect opportunity! :)The weather turned out to be quite nice so we enjoyed playing outside on our swingset together. This was especially fun since the kids had a new swing and trapeze to enjoy which Grammy and Grand-Dad gave Reagan for her birthday. Thank you to Uncle Scott and Grand-Dad for getting that up for us so quickly!Kennedy is especially fond of the trampoline at present. She has really been loving the new big green ball Aunt Arla gave her while visiting us for Reagan's b-day. This particular day she kept exclaiming "This best green ball in the whole wide world!!! This the greatest green ball I ever seen in my whole life!!!" She was so funny especially when she bent her hand back after rolling over the ball. Through her tears she kept telling me "I hurt myself on best green ball in the whole wide world." She's so cute, sweet and funny! lol :)Back to the swingset :)Grammy happenned to call while we were at the swingset and I had my camera in my hand. This birthday girl was obviously excited to be receiving some birthday wishes! :) Thank you to everyone who called! What can I say about this picture of my two little monkeys hanging upside down together loving every minute of playing together and giggling all the way? I absolutely love it!Mendelssohn wanted to come and be part of the fun but wasn't entirely interested in cooperating for the "perfect" picture...Kennedy thought it was hilarious to have Jackson on top of her, silly girl!I was able to capture a few cute pictures of the kids indvidually by our azealaWhen we came back inside the girls had fun decorating some flower fans we forgot to get out during Reagan's Tea Party for all the girls to createThen it was on to lunch. My little blueberry lover decided she wanted blueberry waffles and fresh blueberries for her birthday lunch. Jackson decided it was time for him to check out the blueberry waffles his sisters can't live with out. Yep, Jackson agrees with his sisters, they're pretty yummy! The kids have actually since eaten an entire box of blueberry waffles in one sitting for breakfast!Aunt Arla sent Reagan a special birthday boquet of balloonsShe also sentKennedy green balloons! :)For dinner we met Uncle Dan, Aunt Dorothy, Heidi and Holden at Chick-Fil-A. The kids of course all had a great time together in the play area. After we came home, the kids all had a special dessert which they had selected for themselves (Jackson may have had a little help selecting cookie monster) for one final mini celebration of Reagan's b-day.Grammy and Grand-Dad actually met us at Chick-Fil-A and when we came home had a couple more gifts for Reagan, Kennedy and Jackson. The girls loved their new Strawberry Shortcake Remote Control cars. The only problem (which was also pretty funny) was that each of the girls remotes controlled both cars so the girls were unintentionally driving (no pun intended) each other crazy at times. lol :)Jackson did a pretty good job of opening his gift of a special bookThen we headed back out to the swingset because Reagan had to show Grammy and Grand-Dad how she had already learned how to climb up on the trapeze all by herself!Kennedy can do it too (with a little assistance)!Jackson was insisting, as usual, to hang upside down lol :)Reagan and Kennedy enjoyed some fabulous "underdog" pushes from GrammyOne Happy 4 year old girl at the end of her special day We love you Missy Reagan! You are one extremely special girl and we are so blessed to have you in our lives!
