This past weekend we had so much holiday fun! I went to see the Nutcracker performed by the Lexington ballet on Sunday afternoon with the Hamlins and it was wonderful! On Saturday night we all went to the Lexington Horse Park to see their Southern Lights display as well as talk to Santa. The lines were a bit long but we had a fabulous time! The lights were beautiful, we were able to take as many pictures as we wanted with Santa and the big surprise was having the opportunity to ride a camel! As soon as Reagan saw the camel rides she got super excited. As soon as we got on and the camel started walking she shouted for all to hear "I'm riding a camel!!!!" I love it when Reagan gets so excited she simply cannot contain herself! :)

Reagan, Santa, Kennedy and an Elf (I actually wish this elf hadn't kept getting in the picture(s). I had to really work at getting a picture without her and/or crop her out of the pictures I had. I know she was trying to be helpful and sweet but sometimes I wish people would be a little less helpful. lol :) 
Kennedy checking out Santa - because Kennedy was so tiny last year and I didn't want to risk mall germs this was her first Santa experience. She was interested in checking him out for a little bit but then decided she wasn't so sure about him and preferred Daddy over Santa. :)
This is the first year Reagan understood about Santa and was eagerly anticipating seeing him. While she couldn't think of anything to ask him for herself she did let him know what Heidi wanted. :) What's really funny about that is earlier in the evening when we were asking the girls what they were going to ask Santa for Heidi had said a Barbie and Reagan said she wanted to play with it. So I guess Reagan figured anything Santa brings Heidi she'll get to play with too. That said, she decided to take the selfless path and lovingly ask for toys for her friends... :) Regardless of her reasoning, it was pretty sweet and funny and she's been telling me ever since what she told Santa Heidi wanted for Christmas. lol :)

LOVE the camel and Santa pics - which we could have been there, too! That is the sweetest picture of Heidi and Reagan together and it was so sweet of Reagan to tell Santa what Heidi wants! lol Hugs and kisses to all those sweet girls - and Holden, too! xoxoxox Grammy
