We had so many wonderful family and friends come in to share Reagan's 3rd birthday celebrations with us the weekend of April 17. Nonna arrived from Illinois with the Princess Castle cake Friday evening. Pop-A-Lops, Grammy, and the Stiriz family all came from Tennessee to help make Reagan's birthday weekend very special Friday evening as well. Uncle Scott and Aunt Arla were the first to arrive from Wisconsin on Thursday, April 15. This was so nice because we had a great (and relaxing) time playing and hanging out with them all day Friday! Thank you everyone for making the effort to come and make Reagan's 3rd birthday so special!

Friday morning after baths Aunt Arla wanted to get a picture of the girls with their Mickey Mouse towels. These are recent gifts from Grammy (during her spring break stay) and the girls both love them! When Kennedy wants to get out of the bathtub she now tells me "Mickey Mouse. Out." lol :) Both girls run around in them for at least 5-10 minutes before putting on clothes in the morning pretending to be Mickey Mouse. I have to admit they are pretty cute little Mickey Mouses! :)
This is a cradle my Great Grandpa Mathews made for my Grandma LaBar when she was a little girl. Mom and Dad gave it to us during Christmas 2007 for Reagan to use for her dolls. I don't know why Mendelssohn has just now discovered he enjoys sleeping in it, but he is such a big goofy cat hanging out of this cradle. I suppose it is somewhat fitting given that we got him from Uncle David's farm which is where Grandma LaBar grew up. Maybe it feels like home to him???
After getting dressed Aunt Arla wanted to try and get another picture of the girls sitting on the steps together - yeah right! We may not have gotten a great picture but these are kind of funny. For some reason that morning Kennedy started giving this goofy little grin and putting her head on her shoulder anytime anyone said anything about providing a "sweet smile." Reagan thought that was pretty funny and started doing it too. So here are my girls providing "sweet smiles" for the camera.
More "sweet" smiles
Reagan decided she needed to open her gift from Uncle Scott and Aunt Arla Friday morning
It was a super cool princess bike! As you can see Uncle Scott had lots of help putting the bike together. :)
Uncle Scott doing his best to show Reagan how to push down on the pedals. Reagan is so amazing at so many things but bless her heart she is not very coordinated! I have a feeling Kennedy may be riding this bike before Reagan... ;)
Kennedy decided it was time to get the Barbie Jeep from Grandma and Grandpa out and take it for a spin
Another "sweet smile" captured by Aunt Arla
After trying out the new bike Reagan decided it was time to play on the trampoline with Aunt Arla and Uncle Scott as well as the big purple balls they brought for the girls. What fun! :)
Then it was time for some fun on the swingset
Aunt Arla brought some cute juice bottles for the girls and Kennedy enjoyed rubbing her nose with Mickey Mouse's nose :)
Time for a special string cheese snack brought straight from Wisconsin - Kennedy loves to feed other people
This string cheese is too good to share all of it though!Thank you again to everyone who made the effort to come and spend the weekend with us for Reagan's birthday! We really appreciated it and enjoyed spending time with you all! :)
