It's A Boy! :)

I had my 20 week ultrasound this morning, May 6, and everything looks fantastic! We (well Tim and I anyway - Reagan is another story) really didn't care what we were having as long as he/she was healthy. Our little boy, who will most likely be named Arthur James after the presidents (of course) and his grandfathers, looks great and we're super excited about meeting him in September! :)

We enjoyed the 3D/4D experience with Kennedy so much that we'll be doing that again this time with our little guy. We'll probably wait until 28 weeks or so for some fun pictures! :)

Reagan has been determined she is going to have a baby sister. As I believe I mentioned in her 3rd birthday post, every time we have even mentioned the possibility of a baby brother she would respond with "How about we have a baby sister?" Last week Reagan started negotiating with Tim regarding the gender saying we could have a baby sister and then a baby brother or we could have two babies like Dora. This morning when the ultrasound tech said "It looks like a brother" Reagan's response was "I want a baby sister." She then started trying to negotiate a baby sister again even suggesting we could give Kennedy away and have a baby sister to replace her. Reagan! lol :) Tim asked her if she didn't think it would be nice for Holden to have someone to play with and I joined in with asking if she would like a baby brother like Holden. Reagan's response was "Yes, we could take Holden." lol :) We told Reagan we couldn't actually take Holden but she could have a baby brother like Heidi has a baby brother. That seemed to make her happy for a bit but when I was putting her down for her nap when we got home she informed me that she was having a baby sister named McKinley. lol :) At least we have until September to convince her otherwise and if we haven't convinced her by then I guess we'll be able to prove it to her at that point. lol :) What a little nut! :)

In the meantime, we are very excited about having a healthy new baby brother join our family in a few short months! :)
