Cookeville Children's Museum

We had discussed visiting one of the larger children's museums in Middle Tennessee but decided to check out Cookeville's new smaller children's museum and avoid the travel time for the kids. It had some neat exhibits, was certainly convenient and all three kids seemed to enjoy themselves.

~

Jackson enjoyed practicing standing while waiting for the girls to finish playing outside. Jackson has been loving kitchen sets lately. He loves to open/close, pull things out/put things back, examine anything he can find or move. The kitchen they had here was no exception and the girls had a good time playing and exploring with him too. :)They had a really cool apple tree on the farm in the Children's Museum where the girls could pick apples and put them in bags. It was so cute and the girls loved it! I guess we might have to look into picking some real apples this Fall.Jackson had fun checking out the chickens and whether they had any eggs under them He also enjoyed the apples Kennedy and Reagan picked :)The girls had fun with this race car set. I'm sure a toy like this is in our not too distant future...Blocks are one of our favorite toys at home or anywhere we go. So it was no surprise everyone had fun building with Grammy and the brightly colored blocks at the museum.I love the look I caught Jackson and Reagan exchanging. They sure do adore each other!Thank you to Grammy for taking us to this fun new spot in Cookeville! :)
