Father's Day 2011

After leaving Wisconsin we headed directly to Tennessee with Grammy's help. We sure appreciate her assistance because again we could not do these trips without her! Tim drove down to Tennessee the weekend we arrived since it was Father's Day weekend. Here's Jackson with Daddy on Father's Day - what sweet guys! :)Two of the best father's I know :) Thanks for all you do for us throughout the year! The girls have recently begun to enjoy Legos. Here they are working on building a stable with Tim on Father's Day.We went out for a Father's Day brunch at O'Charley's. Kennedy enjoyed feeding Grand-Dad their yummy bread. lol :)Reagan and Jackson always enjoy being silly togetherReagan had a horseback riding lesson on Father's Day. Since neither Daddy or Grand-Dad had been to a lesson they decided to come along. Kennedy decided she wanted to go with everyone even though she wouldn't be able to ride a horse (although Ms. Becky very nicely gave her a turn) and Jackson came since everyone else was going. :) Grammy had the opportunity to have a little quite time and clean and bake while the rest of us were busy with horses. :) Here's Miss Reagan walking Chevy through the barn to the ring after helping get her ready to ride. Grand-Dad spent most of his time letting Kennedy or Jackson look at the other horses. They are beautiful!Ms. Becky has chairs setup for parents to watch the lessons. Missy K had a great time sitting and playing in these chairs while Grand-Dad was busy showing Jackson the horses and/or while Daddy and Grand-Dad watched the lesson. Grooming Chevy after her lesson Reagan had a special opportunity to ride Jack as well. He is an incredible horse and worth quite a bit of money. Since Reagan has been fascinated with him every time we go Ms. Becky graciously allowed her to take a quick ride on him when her lesson was finished and after Kennedy had a turn riding Chevy (I was walking next to Chevy so I didn't get any pictures of Missy K).Kennedy patting JackAfter getting back to Grammy and Grand-Dad's house Kennedy and Jackson played a little golf with Daddy. That's an appropriate Father's Day activity, right? Too bad Tim doesn't play golf... :)Since Jackson wasn't very handy with the golf clubs he took the golf balls directly to their holes. He did it two at a time though, so that should count for something! :)Jackson absolutely loves the water table Grammy purchased for the kids this spring. He loves to stand and play with it on his own or drop balls into the top when someone is holding him. He can play with this for the longest time with or without any water! A very belated Happy Father's Day to all the special Dad's in our lives!
