Lydia and Jared's Shower and Home

The reason for the timing of our trip to Wisconsin was to attend Lydia's bridal shower. We had a wonderful time and appreciated being included in the fun! :)

~

Lydia with her very excited flower girl, ReaganAunt Pat (Jared's mom), Lydia and Wendy (Lydia's mom)Grammy and Jackson enjoyed hanging out together during the showerThe Grandma's with their sweet grandsonsKennedy insisted on having this picture taken with Lydia - how precious is that smile!?!?!Aunt Arla with two of her nieces and special girls; Ariel (5yrs) and Reagan (4yrs)We played a game at the shower where several gifts were passed out to each table and Aunt Pat read a story about Jared and Lydia's relationship which included the words "left" and "right" (or write) many times. Everytime the word "left" or "right" was read you had to pass the present to your left or right. At first Reagan didn't understand and was pretty frustrated that she had to give her present away. At one point she looked at some other people at the table and said "You know you have my present!?!?!" After the game had been going on for a while and the passing back and forth was reaching a frenzie Aunt Arla and Reagan were laughing hysterically... lol :)After the luncheon and games Reagan did a wonderful job helping Lydia with her gifts and picking up the bows to be made into her practice bridal bouquet. Kennedy wanted to help as well and informed everyone "I am strong like Hercules!"Lydia was sweet enough to send balloons home with the girls and Jackson especially enjoyed playing with them. Such a sweet face! :)Jared and Lydia bought a new home last Fall and this was the first chance we had to visit it. Somehow I didn't manage to get many pictures of their home but we sure appreciated them letting us come over and see it none the less. We also enjoyed getting to have a sneak peak of Lydia's beautiful wedding dress (not pictured here, however)! ;) After getting a tour of the house the girls went outside to help Uncle Randy, Jared and Johnathan with a yard project. Thanks for all your patience and finding things the girls could "help" with! :)After finishing up the work Jared and Uncle Randy were awesome playing with all three kids. My three loved every minute of it! :)Demonstrating their "Ostrich" dance - more pictures/explanation to come later Thanks for letting us come visit your beautiful new home! :)
