Once again in an effort to catch up and because many of these pictures don't really warrent a post of their own (although some probably do) I'm doing one big post to get through February and on to March! :) Enjoy all our February fun! :)
~
The beginning of February there was a big ice storm and the trees and fields on our way to Aunt Julie and Uncle Chuck's wedding were amazing. This was especially true in southern Illinois. I couldn't really capture it in the photos but it literally looked like the trees and fields had been doused in silver paint. It was beautiful!

For one reason or another Jackson and I have ended up sleeping in the guest bedroom in the basement every now and then. One morning when this was the case Tim was leaving for work before the rest of us were up. He was concerned the girls (2 & 3 yrs old) might wake up before us and wouldn't be able to find me. His solution totally cracked me up. When I came upstairs (before the girls woke up) I found this note posted to their bedroom door. lol :) While Reagan is capable of reading it I wonder what would have happenned if Kennedy woke up first? lol :)

Another morning Tim was being goofy after I told him he should pull his pants up a bit. He said if he pulled his pants up as high as I wanted he would be like a "grandpa" and proceeded to demonstrate. Ha, ha, ha... very funny... This was not what I was suggesting he look like but I guess I fixed him by taking a picture of his antics! :)

Daddy and Reagan thought Jackson looked like an angel baby with his glowing halo

One night before going to bed the girls wanted a snack. I didn't really think we should be getting out food at that time of night so I told them they could eat carrots if they would like while we read bedtime stories. Much to my surprise they took me up on it and now carrots have somehow become part of our bedtime routine. Sometimes my kids are really nutty! lol :)

Jackson frequently falls asleep in his swing while Reagan is practicing her violin in the morning. One morning after we finished up I heard him talking and walked in and found this. He dumped himself out of our other swing a couple months ago already but I hadn't seen him do anything like that in this swing. Even though he's buckled up he was pushing up with his feet to kind of stand up thereby pushing himself out of the swing. I don't think he could have gotten himself out any further than this but you can see he was pretty proud of his work. lol :)

Rapunzel (aka Reagan) reading to Jackson

Kennedy decided she needed to read to Jackson as well - so sweet! :)

The girls were being so cute and sweet together one beautiful afternoon in February out on the small swingset on our deck - love those smiles! :)
On to "March Madness" as I try to sort through that myriad of pictures... lol :)
