As many of you probably know we are seriously considering/planning on Homeschooling our kids. Last year we joined the Bluegrass Homeschool Learning Co-op and have really enjoyed being a part of this group. We spend a good part of every Thursday there participating in several different classes. Thursday mornings Reagan attends "Critter" class where they have been learning about animals this semester. They have brought in a hedgehog, rabbit, and snake among other "critters." They make a model animal of what they are learning about and this particular week they brought in a hamster. Here is Miss Reagan with the hamster she created.
In the morning "Mommy and Me" music class I teach the favorite activity we've done all Fall has been singing a song about squirrels while gathering nuts and hiding them in a tree. Even Jackson has figured out the game and has started joining in the last couple of weeks. The kids love this game and would probably play it the entire time if I would let them!
Our Mommy & Me class minus 2 kiddos - this was the Thursday before Halloween so the kids had the option of dressing up in their Halloween costumes which we took advantage of. :)
Kennedy and Jackson playing with the Pumpkin Spice Playdough we made.
Since we were having fun with Halloween I packed the girls an entirely orange lunch complete with cheese cut into the shape of pumpkins.
The afternoon preschool class minus a couple of kids as well.
