In 1492...

Here is the video of Missy K saying "In 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue." You can also hear her telling the names of the ships and even though I stopped taping a second too soon you can just catch her saying he sailed aross "the blue one."

I forgot to mention in the previous post a number of the projects we did were great for cutting and pasting practice with the girls. I'm not as good about getting scissors and glue out as I am at paint or other art materials. The girls did a great job cutting out the paper and water for the boats. They also did a great job cutting the paper for their telescopes and sea creatures. Over all this was just a super fun project!
