Violin Recital Fall 2011

Both girls take violin lessons. Reagan began in June of 2010 and Kennedy began this Fall. They are both doing well and we absolutely love their studio teacher, Bethany Watts. She is beyond wonderful! The first weekend in November Kennedy was able to participate in her first violin recital and we were so proud of her for playing "Pop Goes the Weasal!"Reagan, in her 3rd violin recital, playing "Allegro" with GrammyOur three fabulous musicians! Grammy and Grand-Dad drove up on Sunday just so they could hear the girl's recital and also so Grammy could accompany them both on piano. We know what an effort that was and we certainly appreciate that effort and the trip. Thank you so much Grammy and Grand-Dad!!! Reagan and Kennedy with their wonderful teacher, Bethany WattsAunt Arla with my sweet girls before the recital. Aunt Arla and Uncle Scott actually chose this weekend to visit because they wanted to attend the recital. Thank you so much for coming and for the flowers! Reagan playing "Allegro" with Grammy accompanying her on piano

Kennedy began taking violin lessons this Fall. Here she is "popping" the E string in "Pop Goes the Weasal" as Grammy accompanies her on piano and her teacher, Bethany Watts, plays the rest of the piece on violin.

Thank you for everyone who came to support the girls and made our day more special! Congratulations to both girls on a job well done!
