Gymnastics Fall 2011

The girls began taking gymnastics this Fall and love it! I can't say enough about Legacy Gymnastics and its coaches. They are awesome! Reagan began the Fall as a "Big Foal" but has been promoted to a Star Filly which is an invitation only class for 5 and above. Here is Reagan with her coach Ms. Cindrella on the beam. BridgesHandstandShowing off her bicep - she is buff! Everyone tells us how strong Reagan is and Ms Cindyrella told me during her first class that she has the body of a gymnast. Watch out Olympics here we come! lol :)Missy K is quite strong too and does an excellent job with her splits. She has been in a "Little Foals" class this Fall (due to a class cancelation which resulted in a timing issue for us). This class is technically a little advanced for her but she has done a great job keeping up and her teacher couldn't believe she was only 2 when she discovered it about a month ago. I'm amazed everytime I see these little guys getting so close to pulling themselves over and/or actually doing it.

I messed this video up by not starting it when I thought I had. I still caught Reagan at the top of the rope. She absolutely loves to climb the rope and so far I haven't seen any other little guys who come anywhere close to climbing it as high or as fast as Reagan. Today Reagan was up and down a higher rope than this one and on her second lap around the gym before I even had time to get upstairs to watch her. She is one strong little girl!

Here are a couple of videos of Missy K doing pullovers and hanging from the uneven bars. She is really strong too, I can't believe how long she can hang from the uneven bars. I love how excited she is in these videos. She can't wait for them to tell her she can move to the "Big Foals" class!
