Christmas Eve Day

We began our Christmas Eve Day by opening gifts from Grammy and Grand-dad. Since our girls love to play with each toy as they open them it was a really nice way to break up the gift opening and give them a chance to explore and enjoy all their new toys.
~
The girls are opening some really cool kitchen toys that they can actually use to mix and make simple food and drinks as well as an introductory microscope.
Grand-dad decided it was time to introduce the girls to the world of Looney Tunes. Reagan was pretty excited about her special DVD and they have loved watching them ever since. Kennedy insists that Tweety Bird's name is Little Bunny Foo Foo. lol :) Good pick Grand-dad! :)
After opening up some new American Girl Doll clothing Kennedy decided the shoes might fit her feet :)
Grammy and Grand-dad gave the girls two beautiful sets of puppets for their puppet theatre. One was Peter Pan and the other was royalty. So much fun! Jackson also got a really neat ship that has lots of sea creatures that can be used for a variety of learning/sorting/math games. Thank you for all the amazing gifts!

After things settled down we decided it was time to make reindeer food. After all those reindeer need to eat to keep their strength up while Santa leaves gifts! :)

The girls decided they wanted to make lunch for us and they did a great job!

While Reagan placed the meat and cheese on very carefully, Kennedy cracked us up by just wanting to dump them on in one big heap. :)
Both girls wanted to snack on the dough, cheese and meat :)

Thanks for the great day everyone, it was lots of fun! :)
