Tennessee December Visit

The evening we got to Tennessee Pop-A-Lops took Reagan and I to a student orchestra concert at Tech. Reagan had been asking him about going to a concert and going backstage ever since we went to the concert at UK. When we walked into the auditorium Reagan announced "I don't like this concert!" Pop-A-Lops looked at the stage and and told her "There will be lots of musicians and instruments on stage soon." To which Reagan became very excited and announced "I like this concert much better!" We had a great time and Reagan was able to check out some instruments as well as the building and of course the elevator which she loves to ride anytime we visit Tech. When I asked Reagan what her favorite part was on the way home without missing a beat she exclaimed "The elevator!!!" lol :)

Meanwhile I thought Grammy would have a super easy evening at home because Kennedy hadn't had a nap and I figured she would go to bed easily and early. Wrong!!! Kennedy wanted to do anything but go to bed! Right before we got home she apparently crawled up in this rocking chair with Frosty and finally fell asleep from sheer exhaustion. The next morning Grammy invited us to her school to see Santa, Mrs. Clause and a couple of reindeer. Reagan couldn't wait to talk to Mrs. Clause as well as Santa again. Kennedy was much less shy this time and so we got a much better group picture of the kids together with Santa. That's a relief when you're an avid scrapbooker such as myself! lol :)
My three munchkins enjoying their second Santa visit :)

It was so exciting to meet a couple of Santa's reindeer too! I believe these were Dancer and Prancer but I can't remember for sure anymore.
After seeing Santa, Mrs. Clause and the reindeer we headed down to the Stiriz house where the girls dug right into the donuts Grammy had given them to share with Anna and settled down to watch a new video Grammy had sent as well.
Love this pic of our 5 kiddos!
The guys
Jackson loving all the attention
Jackson and Anna enjoying a snuggle
Saturday morning Kennedy couldn't wait to get outside to help Pop-A-Lops sweep the leaves
Saturday evening we visited the Sligers (not sure how I didn't get more pics). They had some fun gifts from Disney World for the girls and Kennedy especially loved her Minnie Mouse purse.
Sunday morning Reagan was beginning to kick her princess ball around the house in a way that was a bit too rough. Grammy told Reagan she needed to play like that outside meaning she should stop. Instead Reagan's eyes lit up and she exclaimed "Thank you, Grammy!!!" She was super excited because it had snowed ever so slightly over night. Now I don't quite remember why she was only wearing underwear at the time but out the door and onto the deck she went with Kennedy close behind. Here she is wearing my shoes and kicking her ball. Crazy girl!!!
It didn't take Kennedy long to announce "Getting Chilly! Getting Chilly!" and go back inside
Clearly much better prepared for the cold with shoes and a bow... lol :)
The girls aren't allowed to jump on our beds at home but Grammy always lets them jump on hers. So, after coming in from outside our little nuts had a great time jumping away...

Meanwhile Jackson and Pop-A-Lops enjoyed the slightly calmer activity of checking out the Christmas tree

Having fun with Grammy! :)
On Sunday afternoon we had a picture taking session for Grammy and Pop-A-Lop's Christmas card

We also visited with the Kelly family Friday evening and got some cute Pillow Pets from them that the girls have been enjoying. I don't know how I didn't manage to get any pictures although I do remember things being a bit wild... Anyhoo, thanks to everyone for making our visit so much fun! We're looking forward to coming back in March!
