One day during Reagan's Cinderella Camp Kennedy, Jackson and I ended up spending the afternoon at Lexington's Children Museum, The Exporium. I realized there wouldn't be enough time between Reagan's violin lesson and the camp to go home for lunch so we packed a lunch and played at The Explorium until it was time for Reagan to go to camp. I was planning on heading home after that but Jackson was having so much fun and got so upset when we were leaving the water area that we ended up coming back after dropping Reagan off (the theatre is in the same building and actually right next door). I'm glad we came back because we had a great time and it's so much fun to see Jackson getting big enough to enjoy himself at places like this as well! :) 
Jackson loves to play with rubber ducks and the ones he found in the water play area at the Explorium were no exception! :)
Missy K was very proud of herself for "summer-flipping" in and out of the infant area (there were no infants other than Jackson in the near vacinity and he wasn't in there at the time).
Jackson thought he was pretty hot stuff going back and forth between the water area and the toddler play area.

Jackson was fascinated by this fox in the step. He just couldn't figure out why it was there or how to get it himself! :) 
Exploring together - so sweet! Big sisters are the best teachers! :)
Jackson decided he wanted to get into the baby area Missy K had been "summer-flipping" in and out of. They have these large lit baby faces to look at and he was going wild over them. He would race up to one, giggle and turn around race to the next one as fast as he could get there. It was so funny and cute! :)
On our way to the elevator we came across the Explorium's Open Art Studio. They had half a dozen art projects and every type of medium to use to create with. Kennedy chose paint and Jackson chose crayons and they both had a good time. We will be back here alot this Fall. I can't wait for Reagan to discover and use their enormous glitter box/area. So much fun!!! :)
After the art studio we headed upstairs where Missy K tried out the new rock wall.
No visit to the Explorium would be complete without a visit to the Bubble Room. Missy K tried her hardest to pull the big bubble up around her on her own. She couldn't quite make it so I eventually helped her out but she'll be doing it all by herself soon!
