Uncle Rich, Rory and Riley took us to La Jolla Beach Friday morning. This time of year the ocean is a bit cold to go swimming but Reagan and Kennedy had a marvelous time running in and out of the waves in their barefeet. Can't wait to hit the ocean next year on our cruise! :)

Daddy and Kennedy (who has a family of leaves she picked up on our way to the beach - she had leaves of varying sizes for each member of our family)

As much as Jackson loved playing in the water at Legoland he did not enjoy his first time dipping his toes in the ocean. As a matter of fact he thought it was a pretty stinky idea!!!
Daddy with his cute kiddos. :)

You can barely see the head of a seal in this picture. There were actually quite a few very close to us and splashing around and swimming but I wasn't able to snap any good shots. There were also many seals off the shore just aways on a large rock but again I couldn't get any good pictures.
Rory and Riley stayed up on the sidewalk so their shoes wouldn't get sandy. Smart boys! Riley was very proud of this leaf he found on our way to the beach and I think held onto it the entire way back to the car.
On our way back to the car Uncle Rich spotted a squirrel running on a cliff and chattering away. Rory and Reagan desperately wanted to see it but could not find it to save their lives. I thought it was hilarious when Rich finally took Rory's head in his hand and tried to direct his head/eyes to exactly where the squirrel was. Alas, it was a hopeless cause... lol :)
We met Stacy at a local mall for lunch where we enjoyed delicious Fish Tacos for lunch and Churros for dessert. So yummy!!! :)
Stacy and Rich treated us to some "real" Mexican food from "Ranas Mexico City Cuisine" Friday evening. I had Ranas Huarache with Napales which are cactus leaves. It was sooo good! :)
After supper we had a belated birthday celebration for Stacy! Happy Birthday!

Thanks for another awesome day and showing us around the San Diego area!
