We went to Jacobson Park to play on the playground, ride on the paddle boats and have a picnic. We managed one of the three as the paddle boats were closed "because of heat" and it started raining just as Tim arrived with our chicken from KFC. We still had a great time though and enjoyed a fun indoor picnic at home instead! :) Here are some pics of everyone playing Hide and Seek, a constant favorite at our house. :)

We did get to feed the ducks as well. So I guess we were able to accomplish two out of four of the activities we had planned for the park. :)
This smart duck thought Jackson might be a good source of crumbs and Jackson sure wanted to get down and check that duck out!
While the girls fed the ducks Uncle Chuck fed Jackson :)
Then Uncle Chuck decided that patient duck who kept an eye on Jackson and his cracker deserved a cracker of his own. But Uncle Chuck still made the duck work for it. Between Uncle Chuck and Jackson this poor duck definitely earned his cracker! lol :)
Just as we were sitting down to eat our picnic (we had everything out and ready and were just waiting for the chicken to arrive with Tim) it started to thunder. We decided we didn't really want to take any chances so we packed back up and headed home where we had a fun (dry) picnic in the living room instead. :)
Happy sisters! :)
On a positive note, because we went home Aunt Julie was able to fix some yummy S'mores for us in the microwave.
Missy K decided she could fix hers "all by myself without nobody helping me!" lol :) I don't know how many times a day I hear that. She is so sweet and she is so excited every time she says it! She's growing up too fast!!! :)
Thank you Uncle Chuck and Aunt Julie for a super fun afternoon playdate at the park! :)
