Saturday morning we headed to the beauty salon for Reagan to get ready with Lydia and her bridesmaids. Reagan loved hanging out with everyone and they were all so sweet to her! Here she is with Brittany whose beautiful hair was finished before we got there. :)
Reagan hadn't eaten before we left so she was happy to discover Lydia had some donuts to share with her. :) She was extremely excited when she was offerred a Blow Pop sucker! Now that's something truly special; sugar in the morning and bubble gum to boot! lol :)
Everyone decided to get glitter hairspray to match Lydia.
Lydia and Reagan had to compare their toes with flowers on them from their pedicures
Reagan with her special sucker watching Lydia put on her makeup.
All the girls getting ready
Lydia's beautiful hair :)
Two gorgeous girls with amazing hair! Love those smiles! :)
Aunt Arla took Grandma to get her hair done. What can I say, we were all having fun! :)
That's one spiffy looking Great Grandma! :)
When we got back to the house Grammy was in the process of making her famous Long Johns. I was surprised to see her cooking in her hat for the wedding. She explained Great Grandma was concerned no one else was wearing a hat so Grammy decided to go ahead and wear her hat while she was cooking. What a sport and true southern lady! :)
Steph and Jen played playdough with the girls and some of the other kids as a quite activity before it was time to head to the wedding
Kennedy was excited about putting "gel" in her hair so I let her do this all by herself. I think she may have over done it a bit which made her hair a bit difficult to work with later... I may be a bit biased but I think she's a little doll no matter what! :)
Here's Missy K in all her "poofy" glory ready to go and be Lydia's "Twirly Girl." Both girls love to "twirl" and "poof" in any dress they wear. After all, the two true tests of any good dress is does it twirl and does it poof, right? Grammy didn't want Kennedy to feel bad about not being a flower girl so she come up with the idea that Missy K was going to be the "Twirly Girl." Kennedy LOVED that idea! Reagan did too, as a matter of fact, and wanted to be a "Twirly Girl" as well. lol :) Many thanks to Grammy for coming up with such a great idea that made both girls feel so special! :)
Jared passed us on the way to the wedding and I thought his car was hilarious! lol :)
Lydia ready at the church a few moments before the ceremony starts. What an absolutely beauitful bride!
Many more pictures to come! As soon as I can chose between them, that is! I just thought to count and Arla, Dad and I took aproximately 1500 pictures. No wonder I'm having a hard time selecting a reasonable amount to post! lol :)
