Christmas Eve Activities

After we came home from church we climbed into pjs and had some fun before bed. We began by making and spreading reindeer food for Santa's reindeer to nibble on while he was leaving gifts for us. Here's Missy K excited and ready to use plenty of glitter to help those reindeer fly! :)The girls mixed glitter and oats while Jackson looked on and served as Quality Manager/Inspector with a magnifying glass

Mixed up reindeer food ready to spread!Jackson decided he wanted in on the action tooIt must have been the month for sweet sister pictures because here are two more of the girls that just melt my heart! :)As I mentioned before, we've decided it works best to divide the gifts so the girls feel free to play and enjoy their new toys so on Christmas night we open our family gifts. The girls were ready to play Cooties as soon as they opened the box :)Baking cookies for Santa (we cheated a little and purchased premade dough - sometimes it makes sense to cheat a bit :)Reagan and Kennedy were very sad to see Hermie go. Kennedy was so distraught I actually tried to catch a video and I couldn't take a picture. Poor girl! We assurred them he would be back next year, or maybe sooner, to check in since Santa cares how you're behaving year round. :) Hermie left them a note (and a present) after enjoying some of the Christmas cookies the girls baked for Santa. He also mentioned taking a cookie to Kack, Chaz and Anna's elf, as well as some of his other friends. What a thoughtful elf! ;)
