After our European New Year's Eve party we came back home to celebrate with Grammy, Grand-dad (who stopped to visit on their way back from Wisconsin) and Uncle Dan, Aunt Dorothy, Heidi and Holden. We had a great time celebrating the evening with them and Jackson loved trying on our New Year's hats. Has anyone ever seen a cuter New Year's baby?
Maybe another hat? 
We have a decent size Thomas track, but Jackson spends probably 90% of his time rolling the trains down the mine shaft (which you can barely see on the left) and through this tunnel.

I know this isn't the best picture ever but it at least documents all 5 kids. I also have to say I was in the basement by myself so I'm impressed that I was able to get them all in the same general area for any type of picture! lol :) I love that Holden is completely disinterested and unbothered by my efforts and Jackson is doing his best to push the girls out of his space. We're going to have to work on these boys...

We didn't have an opportunity to exchange Christmas gifts during the month of December so we decided to celebrate on New Year's Eve instead. Jackson received an amazing crane from Uncle Dan and Aunt Dorothy! It is so cool and I know he will enjoy and play with it for many years to come. Thank you for all the gifts!

And with 2 large guest rooms, they really do have plenty of room for overnight guests - plus Anna LOVES to cook and entertain, so a good time is CERTAIN to be had by all! This "inn" is highly recommended to family and friends! :) Grammy
