The kids are so much fun to open presents with. They love each and every gift and take their time to enjoy all of them. The only issue with that is we have discovered it can literally take days to open gifts. As such we discovered last year it serves us well to plan the time for the kids to enjoy their gifts and so we begin with gifts from Grammy and Grand-dad Christmas Eve morning instead of opening everything Christmas morning. It's so nice and gives the kids the time they desire to play with everything. Thank you to Grammy and Grand-dad for all the wonderful gifts!
Hermie and Elden decided to spend their last day with us on the Christmas tree
Jackson heading downstairs and ready to open presents
I can't believe this impromptu picture all three of my sweet kiddos volunteered for on the stairs before opening gifts no less! :)
Aunt Arla had Great Grandma Carlson read some Christmas books for the kids. I love these recordings and will treasure them forever. Thank you so much!
Reagan and Kennedy were pretty excited about new large coloring books with brand new paints and brushes.
True to form the girls were ready to begin painting right away

Reagan giving Grammy a big hug for all the wonderful presents :)
Missy K was so sweet snggled up reading books with Grammy throughout the morning
Jackson loves Grammy time too! :)
Jackson has become a big Thomas the Tank Engine fan. He really likes trucks and tractors too but Thomas is definitely the favorite!
Jackson with his new Percy and Thomas
We played with Magna Tiles for the first time while we were visiting Rory and Riley in California last summer. The girls loved them and I knew this would make a great gift for Christmas. These have been great and work perfectly with the light table Grammy and Grand-dad gave us earlier in December too.
Daddy, very proud of his Magna Tile stack... lol :)
Only the beginning of many happy hours of Magna Tile play
Jackson helping Daddy read his gift from Grammy and Grand-dad which was a free night of baby-sitting plus gift cards to Red Lobster. Thank you so much!!! :)
We tried a new sausage ball recipe that included cream cheese over the holidays. It was so yummy and the kids loved them! It was a perfect thing to have on hand to eat while opening gifts.
Uncle Andrew and Aunt Jennifer sent the girls a tea set which the three kids took no time in beginning to enjoy.
All three kids decided the sausage balls tasted even better using the new tea set
Jackson has a sausage ball in this teapot that he is attempting to drink out. lol :)
I don't remember why Reagan was so excited but this is definitely vintage/classic Reagan, if you will. Little Miss Intensity at her best!
I think these pictures of Jackson enjoying the new play food are super sweet and cute

Jackson and Daddy enjoying a good laugh together
My favorite little Chirstmas gift! :)
Thank you again Grammy and Grand-dad we love all the gifts and especially all the time you spend with us! :)
